The King Lives on at Hooters Casino

H
ard to believe but Aug. 16 marks the 33rd anniversary of the passing of Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll. Elvis might be gone but not forgotten especially at Hooters Casino with Pete Wilcox, star of The King Lives. In fact, Hooters Casino will present a special show of The King Lives that evening in the Night Owl Showroom to honor Elvis.

Wilcox will share some stories about Elvis and perform some special songs to honor Elvis.

“I have been doing Elvis tribute shows for over forty years,” said Wilcox. “August 16 is always a sad day for me. Elvis was the greatest performer the world had ever seen. I do my best to honor his memory during every performance. Elvis touched all of our lives. I want Monday to be special. I look forward to a special night.”

During the show, videos of Wilcox’s performances as Elvis throughout the years are shown. It is obvious this performer loves Elvis and his music.

Hooters Casino will be offering one free Bud or Bud Light draft in the showroom to those who purchase a ticket to the Aug. 16 performance of The King Lives. In addition, every person at this performance will receive a commemorative Elvis Style Rubber Duck. There also will be special drawings for those in attendance with prizes consisting of dinners and free night stays at Hooters Casino Hotel. For more details, contact the Hooters Box Office.

The show is at 7:30 p.m. with the dark nights being Tuesday and Friday. Tickets are only $29.95 plus taxes and service fees. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Hooters Box Office at 739-9000 or by visiting www.hooterscasinohotel.com. You must be 21 or older to attend.
