veryone loves a party, so everyone was excited to celebrate the birthday party for Chef Josette Le Blond on August 7, 2010 at the Las Vegas Rocks Café. Eight months ago Josette and Tony Sacca pooled their talents together to become partners in the Las Vegas Rocks Café located at 450 Fremont Street at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd.

The party was in the main dining room of the café and friends, family and fans all came to celebrate. Vintage photos of old Vegas and video clips of Josette’s cooking show “La Cuisine” were displayed throughout the 20,000 sq. ft. building. Many headliners showed up and became the party too. One of my favorites was Roy Hammock, who is a performer in the Country Superstars and pays tribute to Willie Nelson.

The Embassy Theatre is in the back of the café and the guests were treated to “Vegas the Show” starring Tony Sacca. It is a musical journey from 1930 to the present day and beyond. It was very entertaining and by the smiles on everyone’s faces, it was a hit. The café is named after the song, “Las Vegas Rocks” that Tony wrote.

Josette was the perfect hostess as she greeted everyone that entered the café. She looked absolutely fabulous and beautiful in her yellow evening gown. The party continued on after the show with a disco party and dancing.
Happy Birthday Josette and we all look forward to another great birthday party next year.
