enter, Nancy Smith, manager of marketing at Datanamics, stands with Nevada System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Klaich and Gov. Jim Gibbons. Smtih recently attended Gov. Gibbons’ ceremony to sign Nevada’s Race to the Top grant application and received a Certificate of Appreciation for her work on the project. A Blue Ribbon Education Reform Task Force member, Smith assisted in guiding and overseeing Nevada’s Race to the Top application that was submitted to the U.S. Department of Education

inda Quackenboss recently opened her own studio, Linda Q Photography. She shoots events and trade shows at the convention centers and commercial work for ad agencies. She recently added expertise in photographing children and adults with special needs including Down’s syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and others. Quackenboss worked in advertising in Las Vegas before opening her own studio.


For the next few weeks, Debbie will highlight two exceptional women, from the Las Vegas area, that are making a difference.
