Women of Las Vegas

I
n celebration of her contributions to her school and work within the community, the Jefferson Awards honored Communities In Schools of Nevada’s Eldorado High School Fellows Academy student, Katharine “Kat” Foronda, at a Jefferson Award Youth Superstars at a Washington, D.C. awards dinner. Foronda was honored for creating a school resource center at her high school along with fellow classmates.

rom the San Francisco Bay Area, Raquel Sanchez recently opened the Las Vegas-based company, RA Public Relations & Events and RhythmStylist.com. Currently, Sanchez directs social media, public relations, marketing, promotions and events for three unique Las Vegas clients along with an online urban retail store and events website, www.Rhythmstylist.com.


For the next few weeks, Debbie will highlight two exceptional women, from the Las Vegas area, that are making a difference.
