Women of Las Vegas
I magine Marketing, a Henderson-based marketing and public relations firm, has named Tiffannie Bond media relations specialist. With more than 11 years of journalism experience, Bond brings industry experience to Imagine Marketing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in print journalism, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has served as a staff writer as well as freelance writer and copy editor for various local, regional and trade publications.
P atty Kelley, former president of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, recently graduated from the National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy. She was one of 27 Realtors to graduate and the only one from Nevada. The commencement ceremonies were held during the 2010 Realtor® Midyear Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C. The NAR Leadership Academy is a nine-month, five-session training and development program.
B rooke M. Borg has opened her own law firm, with her practice focused on real estate, corporate, estate planning, probate, and wills and trusts. Prior to opening her own firm, she served as partner with law firm Lubbers & Borg. Borg earned her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas and belongs to the Nevada State Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Clark County Bar Association, the Genesee County Bar Association, and the Probate and Trust Section of the Nevada State Bar. Borg also takes on pro bono projects to help those in need of services but without means to pay for them and has volunteered her time as a presenter in a real estate planning seminar for gay and lesbian couples.
G olden Gaming, Inc. has promoted Shannon Keel to vice president and general manager of the Pahrump Nugget. Keel joined Golden Gaming, Inc. in October 2006 and has served as assistant general manager of its three casinos in Black Hawk, Colo.—Golden Mardi Gras, Golden Gates and Golden Gulch. In her new role as vice president and general manager of the Pahrump Nugget, Keel will oversee the daily operations of the hotel and casino, which includes managing a team of more than 300, 70 hotel rooms, more than 500 slot machines, 10 table games, three bars, three food outlets, kids ventures, bingo and a 24-lane bowling center.
