In 2003, Allen Fawcett packed a van and moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles.  He immediately landed the role of casino manager ‘Matt’ on “Crime Scene Investigation” opposite ‘Warrick’ (Gary Dourdan).  See excerpt here:

A whole new generation of television audiences are now becoming acquainted with the same likeable guy who hosted and wrote 134 half-hour episodes of Chris Bearde's wildly popular 1980’s comedy lip-sync game show “Puttin’ on the Hits,” produced by Dick Clark.

Equally at home on stage, Allen is a veteran of four Broadway musicals, including the original New York productions of “Shenandoah,” “Rex,” “King of Hearts,” and the American Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s  “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

His show-stopping portrayal of ‘Joseph’ in that production, combined with his powerful acting skills and beautiful tenor voice, impressed Andrew Lloyd Webber so much that he placed Allen’s name in first position above the title of the show, one of the highest honors a Broadway star can receive.

Millions of soap opera fans remember Allen as the heartthrob "Lars Hansen" on “General Hospital” and as "Kelly McGrath" on “The Edge of Night.”

Between acting roles in Hollywood, Allen has worked behind the camera as a television comedy coach for Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, Universal Studios and the Fox Television Network.  His dialogue and comedy coach credits include “Harry and the Hendersons” and “Major Dad.”

Allen is currently hosting and producing his interactive comedy stage production of “Puttin’ On the Hits;”™ the ultimate interactive celebrity impersonator show.  Allen has taken the best ideas of his hit television series “Puttin’ on the Hits” and created an all-new live interactive stage production that, with the help of Las Vegas’ best celebrity impersonators, transforms audience members into musical legends of all genres.

“There’s a little Elvis in all of us,” Allen says.  With the help of costumes, wigs, props and tutoring from the best impersonators in Las Vegas, we make that dream of becoming a superstar a reality. It is very entertaining to watch audience participants of all cultures suddenly take on the persona of Elvis, Madonna, James Brown, Michael Jackson and more, and then compete to win wacky prizes portraying these stars in my rockin’ game show.  The best part is that there is no language barrier.  Everyone knows the superstars we pay tribute to.  Unlike karaoke, there is no preparation or special skill needed.  The payoff is that my show has a musical Grande Finale that’s the photo opportunity of a lifetime!”

Allen refers to his new stage show production as “the every-audience energizer” because it is suitable for all groups, nationalities, themes and occasions.  His corporate clients include Old Republic Insurance, IBM, Sony, Bank of America, Health Net HMO, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
