Well known for her exciting energy and contagious enthusiasm for
life, Amie Jo is President and Founder of Corner4Success, an
organization dedicated to empowering and motivating others to live
their life’s passion.
Weekdays at
12 Noon, Amie Jo hosts The Amie Jo Show on KLAV-1230 AM in
Las Vegas where she interviews celebrities and other inspiring
people on the topic of success.
Her
insightfully skilled questions make her show a “must
listen to.” The Amie Jo Show streams live on the Internet at
www.klav1230am.com and is
re-broadcast “on demand” through her iTelevision Show on
www.YouTube.com and on her web site at
www.corner4success.com.
The foundation for her success developed in part due to her travels
throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America
learning all she could about the cultures;
interacting with top corporate executives, their colleagues,
business associates and spouses.
She also utilized the knowledge gained from writing Internet
articles about successful people to develop the format for her radio
talk show. In addition to her
successful radio show, Amie Jo hosted The Amie Jo Show,
a television talk show that appeared in Black Insight
Magazine, the world’s first digital, interactive magazine featuring
African Americans.
Some of Amie Jo’s achievements include numerous awards from the
International Society of Poets for her outstanding achievement in
poetry; co-author of the book
Advanced
Revelations to Plus Size Modeling;
as well as writing and publishing Children’s Golf A to Z.
Additionally, Amie Jo loves to read, sing, and currently has a
motivational CD in the wings soon to be released.
Devoted to
“giving back” to the community, Amie Jo founded the Corner4Success
Girls Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which helps young
at-risk girls. The club is designed to teach young women life
skills, which are generally not being taught in the home or by the
public school system. She is also on the Board of Directors of Next
Step; Exposure to Life Group Home, the Andre Agassi Preparatory
Academy Broadcast Club Curriculum Committee and was recently
selected as The Voice of “Volunteer Las Vegas”, a new
community resource that helps bring volunteers and organizations
seeking volunteers together.
