SCORES Las
Vegas’ marketing mind Shai Cohen
dropped us a line over the holiday weekend to make sure we shared
his “Happy Thanksgiving” wishes with the industry community in Las
Vegas. He also added that the new SCORES Sky Lounge
already is looking like a homerun.
Speaking of homeruns, the Pinstripe sightings
continue, A-Rod was spotted having a couple drinks at SCORES Las
Vegas over the weekend, but he didn’t party anywhere near as hard as
rapper Xzibit. The “Pimp My Ride”
star apparently had a blast at SCORES, “drinking like a rap
star.” Apparently, that means hammering back drink after drink until
you regurgitate at the front door to a cheering packed house!
The smooth-skulled wine guru of Café Ba-Ba-Reeba

Rouge is an upscale lounge that
gives guests the ultimate cocktail experience while overlooking the
casino floor at the MGM Grand. The lounge’s
standout feature is the Adam Tihany-designed
backlit projection wall of glass bottles that flicker with a variety
of sensuous images, and the sophisticated staff serves an array of
specialty infused cocktails, champagnes, fine wines, specialty beers
and cordials. Rouge is now open from 3 p.m. until 3 a.m. Monday
through Thursday, and from noon to 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

When U Dream A Dream Inc. is a
non-profit organization that has helped many sick and
underprivileged individuals realize their dreams. Los Angeles Police
Officer Kristina Ripatti, who was paralyzed from
the chest down after being shot by a fleeing robbery suspect, and
her husband Tim, had the dream to dine at Morton’s The
Steakhouse, in Las Vegas, and see Celine Dion
in concert at Caesar’s. This Saturday, their dream will come true.
“We’re looking forward to having Kristina and her husband here at
Morton’s, and we’re honored that she chose our steakhouse,” said
Daniel Hurst, general manager of Morton’s. “When we
were contracted by When U Dream a Dream, we had no doubt this was a
worthwhile cause that we wanted to be a part of.”

We gave you the heads up that MGM Grand’s
Tabu Ultra Lounge would be off the hook on Sunday night
with Melle Mel of the Furious Five hosting Tabu’s
Super Slide Sunday’s along with Mr. Freeze.
And it turned out to be a true night of hip-hop on the Las Vegas
Strip, with B-boys and B-girls battling it out on the dance floor
while the crowd went crazy to the free-styling lyrics from Mel.
