The Social Register of Las Vegas "Registers" with Professionals in Las Vegas.

Quite literally, some of the créme de la créme of Las Vegas society, is also known as The Social Register of Las Vegas.

After I spent a year planning my wedding and honeymoon, I tired to settle into the life of a newly-wed. It was just after that time when I found myself making breakfast for my new husband one morning. While scrambling the eggs, I told him in excitement, you're never going to believe, but I found the greatest store with the greatest produce! It was just after hearing that statement come out of my mouth when I quickly realized something needed to change. The next thing out of my mouth was, "I have to do something with my life."

Before getting married, I spent nine years coordinating special events and directing VIP services at one of the most ritzy and historic hotel/casinos in downtown Las Vegas, the Golden Nugget. In that line of work, and having worked since I was 15 years old, I considered herself a person with "a lot of high energy." And, as a fresh member to the Social Register of Las Vegas, it become clear where I wanted to expend that energy—with The Social Register.

Lucky for me, The Social Register's founder was ready to sell. Then, the group was almost three years old in 1997, with 220 people comprising its membership. However, soon after I bought the company, that number seemed like hardly anything.

But, with all my high energy, today that membership has reached well over 2,300 members. Not only that, the group's originally held three to four events each year jumped to more than 50 events each year. The growth and climb in the number of members I contribute to us expanding membership to reach out to a larger assortment of people.

Las Vegas is a melting pot of many socially gracious and very professional people. It should be opened up to all professions of all ages and not just the people that are bicentenaries.

Still, The Social Register hosts some of Las Vegas' top professionals. About ninety percent of members are people that write the checks. They are the decision makers. We have tons of doctors, attorneys, architects, CEOs and chairman of the boards. We have A to Z…literally. From small business owners to multi-million dollar corporations.

The Social Register consists of two distinct divisions. Business Networking & Marketing Division and Social & Philanthropic Division which truly meets the needs of our members. The Business Networking & Marketing Division is for members interested primarily in business and professional networking, while the latter focuses on more social and philanthropic connections.

Every month, business networking events are held. We average between 150 to 200 members on an average at these networking events. These events are extremely diversified and not the same people and companies are represented each month. However, professional networking within the Social Register is not reserved solely for business meetings.

We also offer complimentary business directories, which are sent out every quarter and utilized 100% by our members as a tremendous marketing tool. Plus, complimentary Web-site hot links which drives traffic from The Social Register of Las Vegas' web-site directly to our members' home page, just to name a few.

Other types of meetings, consisting of more social or philanthropic purposes, also have networking perks and advantages. We offer "Men's Monthly Card Night Out," Ladies Nine & Dine—9 holes of golf and lunch…BUT WE DON'T KEEP SCORE AND CHEAT LIKE MAD!

The Social Register offers major social events featuring charitable benefits— these major events are held in the most exclusive locations in Las Vegas, and feature spectacular charitable benefits for a myriad of local non-profit organizations. We gear everything up to make it so people can meet people. We don't sit people at these huge whopping tables with huge whopping centerpieces where people just say "hello" once and are stuck all evening at the table. Instead, we have elegant food stations, open bars and fabulous variety of live entertainment featuring guest celebrities and musicians. People are able to eat what they want, when they want, where they want. It makes it extremely conducive to business networking and socializing.

The Social Register of Las Vegas is broken up into various membership categories. Members may join as individuals, couples or corporations, with options for either annual or lifetime status. The group also offer various platinum packages which includes extensive VIP privileges. Membership packages start as low as $500 one-time fee and $175 annual dues.
