Tony
Sacca long-time singer, accomplished song writer, entertainer, producer
and host of the weekly syndicated television show "Entertainment Las
Vegas Style," was presented the "Key to the City" from Mayor Oscar Goodman
on Wednesday, January 30th at 3:00pm. In acknowledging Tony's role as Entertainment
Ambassador for the city, Mayor Goodman noted, "
he is, I would say, the Las Vegas Ambassador.
When he's out there and he represents us, all he does is bring great
pride to the community and shows great talent, great love, great
affection for everything that we stand for
"
Tony, with his versatile
style of entertaining has been a Las Vegas mainstay since 1980. Tony and
his wife/associate producer Darlene Sacca are the proud recipients of
the 2001 ADDY Award, the Bronze Quill Award, the Electronic Media Award,
The National Telly Award, the Videographer Award, and The Communicator
Award all for their weekly syndicated television show "Entertainment Las
Vegas Style" (ELVS).
Tony Sacca was
honored by Mayor Oscar Goodman with The Las Vegas 2000 Electronic Media Award.
As host
and producer, Tony has been representing and promoting entertainment Las
Vegas-style locally and nationally for over (20) twenty years. His
song "Las Vegas The Greatest Town Around" has been included in the Las
Vegas Time Capsule and has been performed by Tony on "The David
Letterman Show" and is the theme song that represents Las Vegas on ELVS.
As Sacca says, "I've always believed in promoting the
greater Las Vegas Entertainment via television. Now, the rest of the
country has the opportunity to discover what those of us who live here
already know: Las Vegas IS the greatest town around."
A weekly
television entertainment show since 1986, similar to "Entertainment
Tonight" ELVS audiences experience intimate moments with celebrities in the
entertainment industry and also witness these legends in
action on stage as clips are shown from their performances in each
segment. Additionally, this program features eye-popping PRODUCTION
SHOWS and spectacular MEGA-RESORT ATTRACTIONS and EVENTS.
"Entertainment Las Vegas Style" is now well
into its 20th year of delighting audiences and primarily
focusing on maintaining an upbeat and positive image of Las Vegas. The
main focus of this TV show is Celebrities, in which Las Vegas does
provide a very stimulating environment. "ENTERTAINMENT LAS VEGAS STYLE,"
the only television show of its kind, is broadcast to 32 million
households in 180 markets across the country, from Los Angeles to New York, Florida to
Washington State. The Show is now airing in Southern California on
DIRECTV® and DISH™ Network reaching 2.5 million homes, and on KHIZ TV-64
and cable 8. It can also be seen in parts of Canada.
The Travel Channel
partnered with ELVS to produce four one-hour specials on Las Vegas.
All four have aired and will continue to run on the Travel Channel over
the next five years. The Nielsen reports indicate an aggregate 3.5 HH
rating which places the show in a heavily watched category for
late-night television and reaches a 35 + male/ female audience.
We are

Even with
all the awards and titles he has acquired, Sacca still finds time for
benefit shows, charities, and helping others. Through his talents and
his entertainment friends, he has produced the annual "Merry Christmas
Las Vegas Benefit Show" for 20 years, where proceeds go to Youth
Foundation for the Performing Arts, helping children become the stars of
tomorrow. Sacca also produces the Annual San Gennaro Festival, all of
which his entertainment friends donate their talents, along with Sacca
to give back to the community.
