America's Air
Show, November 12 -13, 2005 at Nellis Air Force Base was just
the beginning to the start of another great month! Being a USAF
Veteran myself it’s a highlight of “reality” of how great our
nation is. This is always a family event and should be viewed
by all. So mark your calendars for the next one! |

November 10th
-13th My good friend Kid Cary (caught in action
dancing!) and I joined forces for the “LAS VEGAS ODYSSEY” 6th
annual Celebration of wine, food and the arts. Incredible
eatables and wonderful music on Sunday at the CELEBRITY CHEF
GOLF TOURNAMENT! Thanks to CHEFS PAUL ELLIOTT & CARLOS GUIA and
all the servers (our personal section were serviced by Lauren
Schworitz, Jan Smock and Brian Chase) for making this
spectacular. |

My
attention was totally engrossed with the 2 groups that were
performing the blues that afternoon. PETE CONTINO BAND (The
famous Dick Contino's son) “blue” me away! I was so
impressed that I am looking forward to the Friday evening's
at BRENNAN'S PUB in the ORLEANS HOTEL! |

|
 |
The
SPELLCASTERS started at 2pm and were the icing on the afternoon!
Oh my! Have I been there that long!!!? 11am to 5pm? Ha ha ha

FOR
ME...a wonderful longtime friend invited me to see his show
at HARRAH'S. Yes, he's the captivating CLINT HOLMES. As
always Clint was incredible and spectacular. His voice is so
emotionally charged that if we connected him to a
computerized light board...the Aurora Borealis would be just
a streak of light in comparison. You can no longer compare
him to the best...HE IS THE BEST.
And then,
NORM JOHNSON invited me to see the FOUR TENORS at the GOLDEN
NUGGET. Entertainment Director JOE LEONE showcased this
incredible group of male singers put together by none other
than BILL FAYNE (musical director for CLINT HOLMES) adding
MARK GIOVI (STRATESPHERE'S -”BITE” Star) Teddy Davis (RIVIERA'S
“LOVE IS A PAIN” STAR -opens December 26th,2005)
and BOBBY BLACK (FOUR TENORS). Besides being a gifted
musician and an incredible classical vocalist, Bill Fayne
produced and directed this foursome to bring a blend of
classical, pop, a little R& R and fun to Las Vegans. Bring
'em back JOE! |

TONY
SACCA invited me to the opening of WAYNE NEWTON'S CHRISTMAS
SPECIAL! He rode out on a beautiful white horse! It was
beautiful and Wayne will always be the King of Las Vegas. I
was so happy to see my friend PATRICIA WELSH as one of his
background singers...and especially happy to hear her sing
“O HOLY NIGHT”. She is breath-taking! The after party was,
as always, filled with friends from the entertainment
industry |

HOTEL'S “BUCK WILD” show) LAURENCE T (STRATESPHERE HOTEL);

HOTEL) The man of many voices– IMPERSONATOR- BILL ACOSTA
(SUNCOAST) The harmony of SPECTRUM (BOARDWALK) HELEN JOY'S

TURNING THE PAGE TO ANOTHER BLONDE...ha ha ha...LINDA
ANGELINE is sure getting around these days! Already
beautiful and talented (besides having a hunk for a
husband - Lawyer Adam Musluskey) she performing
at the IMPERIAL PALACE and a member of the off
the wall musical/comedy “FAME GAME SHOW."
DRUM
ROLL PLEASE...She is now impersonating Marilyn Monroe!
And she's great! All I get to do is Miss Piggy! She is a
fabulous singer and my pick of the month to make sure to
see December 15th/16th/17th and 29th/30th/31st. |
