* Keeping with the Las Vegas stature of being a first in many areas, now within 45 minutes of Las Vegas you can enjoy an outdoor, year-long ice-skating rink. Yes, I said Ice Skating. Located next to the Mount Charleston Hotel, this Southern Nevada first is something you should enjoy.

* It appears the recent surge of mobile home park owners selling out to make way for high-rise and casino developers may come to a stop. It is expected for this coming Wednesday meeting of the Clark County commissioners that a moratorium of mobile home park conversions is implemented. In the past few years more than 30 mobile home parks in Nevada have been sold and converted.
