PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

Wow what a wild month we had with October! Here are a few very special times...

First of all...Tony Sacca (Las Vegas' Entertainment Ambassador) invited me to go see a new magician at The Plaza Downtown. Now after seeing and knowing so many incredible magicians...its almost like saying lets go see a new Elvis or another Rat Pack group ..ya know? But this young man was all but boring! Comedy and new tricks and he can dance! It was so refreshing! His name is Curtis Adams and he is a must to see.

The wild and crazy reporter Norm Johnson (he’s nutz about racing and cars!) invited me to go to see Steve Laurence and Edie Gorme at the Stardust. WOW! The packed house included Robert Wagner ( my heart still flutters!) and his forever young and beautiful wife - Jill St. John who were in the next booth with Steve Wynn. The show and their love songs for and to each other melted the audience. And it was great to see a favorite longtime friend – musical director Vince Falcone. Also in a booth on the other side were Dennis Bono -Las Vegas longtime Television and Radio Host – now on 91.5 FM and Edward Sher from SHER CAPITAL. I am so thrilled to learn that Lorraine Hunt – yes, our Lieutenant Governor, and Dennis Bono are going to make it official next year!! Afterwards, backstage, I got to meet all the heart throbs and had a wonderful conversation in Spanish with Edie Gorme. I'm still floating!

Our publisher, Marleen Marino, invited me to a special “Tea, Trends & Tranquility Party”. It was the 6^th annual Tea party of “HELP of Southern Nevada”. “Helping People Help Themselves.” Gwen Castaldi (award winning journalist) was the honoree who has been a part of HELP in our community. Our table was filled with incredible women from Nevada who announced their names and who they are including Harriet Trudell, Political Director for the Democratic Party who sat next to me. When it came to me I announced myself and that I was a Republican. HaHa… we had a wonderful time! The assortment of tea sandwiches and desserts were just enough and the special teas from “The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf” were the perfect combination. Also, a wonderful Fashion Show from Dillard’s was a part of the program and when the cute Teapots on our table were gifted to the teacup with a star under it from each table. Marleen won it and than gifted me with it. That was the best part of all! Thank you Marleen!

Arlene Gibson invited me to a private dinner party hosted by Billy Joe Arthur. Who just happens to be a great Chef. He was showcasing some of his specialties and it was mouth watering. The other side to him is even better! He's an EXCELLENCE COACH from ELITE EXCELLENCE.” All I can say is the food, the wine and the positive conversations made for a great evening.

Hmmmm...(blonde moment) Oh Yes! Chef Steven Romeo from the fabulous COMO'S restaurant at LAKE LAS VEGAS invited me to the Southern Wine & Spirits ALZHEIMER'S HALLOWEEN COSTUME BALL at CAESARS PALACE in the PURE NIGHT CLUB (Benefiting The Alzheimer's Association of Southern Nevada). Of course it was a blast and here are a few pictures to prove it!

Chef Steven is the pirate! HaHa! Gotta get ready for another evening on the town!
