Janet
Jackson Loves Las Vegas
When
Janet Jackson was in Las Vegas recently at her record release party
at TAO’s in the Venetian she gave her heart to the media
“Twenty years
Yo” as it is appropriately entitled was inspired from Janet’s life
experiences which included Las Vegas.
“It’s my life
experiences, Jermaine, Jimmy and Terry as well helped producing and
writing the producing album. “I started here, it’s my home and
beyond that I was on stage here at 7, and I have relatives here.”
She continues, Las Vegas is also a place where you don’t get any
sleep. I mean I don’t wanna sleep. Referring to Janet’s CD
release-it goes back to her r&b roots. What makes this cd special
is it goes back to her r&b roots and she’s getting back to her
dancing. Janet Jackson will continue her love for music as well as
her love for Jermain Dupree, who incendentlly was with her that
evening. As to when or if they will marry is up in the air.
Neither will say…
Hugh
Helfner at 80 receives Brenden Celebrity Star
How much
energy and surprise could Hugh Hefner enjoy at age 80? Plenty,
especially receiving his own star in Las Vegas at the hip Palm’s
Hotel and Casino, Hugh Hefner said its one of the highlights of his
career, but what’s even more surprising is his new Playboy Club on
the 52rd floor of the Palms Tower. The Playboy club is of such
magnitude with it view and playboy dealers at the tables that it’s
the talk of Hollywood. On the other hand it cost $40 to take the
elevator ride up to gamble in Hugh’s casino and $20 on the
weekdays. The question is will folks keep paying those proceeds to
gamble? On top of the Playboy club, on the 53rd floor is
the Moon Club which is owned and operated by the Ninegroup which
began its inception in Chicago by Scot DeGraph and Michael Mortin
who incidentally met when they were 9 years old. This club opens to
the sky with a retraceable roof and laser light show, and allows
patrons to dance atop the booth around the dance floor which is made
especially for those who are daring enough to execute the style of
dance. The unique ultra club should continue to a better popular
point, since it has an incredible view of the strip and a
spectacular retraceable roof.
Tony

Super
Low-Riders Show a Family Affair:
Would you
believe the low-riders are a family affair?
The low-rider
show which comes to Las Vegas, had over 15,000 fans at Cashman
fields from all over the USA. In addition to car shows, hip-hop
dancing cars—where cars dancing on the ground, almost tip over. The
low rider show is fastly becoming one of the most popular shows in
the USA. Last year radical winner was Rob Roberston, this year,
Gilbert Gonzales. In addition to the hip hop show there are
headliners who take center stage. This Year Caponi, Chenny, Too
Short tore up the stage. Too short incentive says he’s diversified
in his music which also means his language, regarding explicitly
sexual language, is also changing.
