'Tis the Season
 SEPTEMBER THROUGH APRIL each year is the best time for artists & collectors getting together! I suppose most collectors are in a great shopping mood with the Holidays approaching. Some collectors may want a year-end tax benefit; many like the auctions, where the funds help support charities. Whatever the scenario, the receptions, auctions, and festivals are happening all over town. What are really fun for the entire family, are the exhibitions, outdoors. The
Summerlin & Boulder City fairs this month had quite a turn out and more & more national artists seem to be coming this way!
For the first time in 13 years ART EXPO International is headed to town! Should the ARTV AWARDS, co-ordinate their BI-annual event with Art Expo? That may just be the biggest Art Production in the country, in 2007. STAY TUNED Las Vegas! POP Culture is alive & happening NOW!
The NAA, NAC and CAC among other statewide organizations will finally join in unison, launching a statewide campaign, called "ARTS4 Nevada," to encourage education and support for ALL non-profits.
While the weather is still great, come out to the new Charleston Festival…"ART ABOUT," a downtown cultural experience every third Saturday, starting Oct. 21st. Bring the kids!
PROJECT SUNSHINE was a fabulous event, hosted by Robin Leach & Jay Leno, behind the World Market Center. The crowd was much bigger than last year, and very generous, helping to raise funds for the KIDS CAMPS at the Brent Torino Ranch! Celebrity artist like YUROS came in from California & Sergay Cherep from Atlanta, to donate works of art for this wonderful organization. Bravo to all the organizers, participants & donors!
HALLOWEEN at HOLSUM, with the Contemporary Arts Collective (CAC) will end this month with a big colorful TREAT. Hope 2 C U!
