Seems as though a Las Vegas barber has the N.B.A. looking good these days. Daryl Jones has quickly become a favorite of LeBron James, N.B.A. Finals MVP Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, Gilbert Arenas and more. It looks as though Running Rebel alumni Shawn Marion turned the pros onto Jones’ steady hand and sharp eye. He even helped white guy, and Sacramento Kings center, Brad Miller, get some style! Jones works out of Executive Cuts on Owens Avenue.

Speaking of the Venetian, if your wondering why traffic on the Strip was closed between Spring Mountain and Flamingo twice on Friday, it’s because a three-alarm fire started when a construction tarp became ignited after being overheated from a lamp resulting in 40-flames in front of the property. Earlier that day, a massive ‘Phantom’ sign was blown loose from the building.

Rumors have former Riverdance producers collaborating with horror czar Wes Craven for a new show eyeing a 2008 or 2009 Las Vegas debut. Magick Macabre doesn’t officially have a Sin City home yet, but the man who brought us the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise is previewing the show in Chicago next month before making a move to Broadway next year.

We just heard that Miami hotspot Mansion will be making a move to Las Vegas at some point next year. Our sources insist that Mansion is going into the space that had previously housed Curve at the Aladdin. This would mark a second nightlife destination for the upcoming Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino with Triq Ultra Lounge already confirmed for a late 2006 opening.
