Steve Cofield has turned over a new leaf. Under the tutelage of radio icons like Imus, Hank Goldberg, Pete Franklin and Bob Grant....Cofield had an awakening. People want to hear the good news in sports, Mr. Sunshine is here!!!

A  Las Vegas staple, doing local radio in Sin City for the last five years, Cofield has been heard everywhere. He did national sports talk for the SportsFan Radio Network from 1996-2001. His shows were heard in major markets like Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and New York.

He's currently doing national sportstalk on the weekends for SportingNewsRadio Fantasy Source with Steve Cofield. The show is heard in great markets like Charlotte, Indianapolis, Denver, Tampa, Dallas, Cincinnati, Boston, Jacksonville and 70 other cities.

Steve Cofield is on board with Sporting News Radio. You never know what to expect from Mr. Bitter. At times, Steve is the guy to turn to for hardcore sports breakdown. At others, you may hear him ranting about Paris Hilton, Mark Foley or American Idol.

In spite of being fat AND old, Cofield hates "Old Guy" radio, as he calls it. On his show, there's no references like "in my day" and "today's athletes don't suck." 

Prior to his local Vegas show, Steve spent a season doing Carolina Panthers radio coverage in 2002. Hosting the pre- and post-game shows, plus the wildly-popular Wesley Walls Show on WBT in Charlotte.

He keeps leaving and they keep drawing him back. Steve loves Las Vegas and has been a local over the last nine years. He rejoined the lineup at Fox Sports Radio 1460 after a seven-year stint doing national sports-talk for SportsFan Radio Network and Sporting News Radio. He also did Carolina Panther radio coverage. Hosting the pre and post-game shows plus the wildly popular Wesley Walls show on WBT in Charlotte.

After years of ranting and raving, he's now putting forth the positive side of sports.
