Keynote speaker, Frank Fiedler of the radio talk show, "Let's talk Las
Vegas" gave a short but inspiring speech extolling the wonderful
advantages of living in America and especially for seniors who have so
many opportunities to do many fulfilling things. Fiedler can be heard on
his talk show every Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on KLAV, 1230 on the AM
dial.
The evening succeeded in bringing Nevada Senior Olympics to the
attention of many who gathered to watch the entertainment and view the
banners, posters and flyers placed strategically around the stage. NSG
wishes to thank those who made the Kickoff a success including Catherine
Gipple and Dani Kaneshige of the Fremont Street Experience and Les the
maintenance guy who made everything work. |
|
Also, thanks to Virgen
Advertising for the colorful banner designs and the Balloon Lady who did
a wonderful job decorating the stage. And a special thanks to all the
performers who, despite the heat and humidity, sang and danced their
hearts out to the delight of the Fremont Street crowd. |
