Greg J.: Keeping Vegas PURE --
LUXE LIFE GUEST COLUMNIST

Thursday, July 20, 2006

Las Vegas is one of the most exciting cities in the world. Where else can you see a world-class show like LOVE, dine in 5-Star restaurants with food prepared by some of the top chefs in the world, and party all night in the most exciting nightclubs? Having all these entertainment elements is key for any Las Vegas Strip hotel. At Pure Management Group, where I am Director of Operations, we work with hotel properties to create a unique nightlife concept that appeals to its guests.

Our biggest, and most popular nightclub, right now is PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Not only were we named the No.1 nightclub in the country by E! Entertainment, but Conde Nast Traveler also named PURE the hottest Nightclub in its 10th Annual Hot List. The accolades stem from PURE’s extraordinaire service and uniqueness that spreads four different DJs through four rooms, all under one roof. PURE’s main room is the highlight of the club and also the favorite of many celebrities who enjoy partying on PURE's white VIP beds. The main room serves as home to some of the greatest DJs including DJ AM, who spins every Friday, Mark Ronson, and turntable legend Grandmaster Flash. Then there is PURE's 14,000-square-foot outdoor terrace, overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, featuring VIP cabanas and house music. Back downstairs PURE's red room is more of a lounge with ornate chandeliers and hip-hop and R&B music. Finally, we have the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, featuring the Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls who perform live burlesque shows five-nights-a-week.

With the success in the first 18 months of operation, PURE has also garnered a reputation as a celebrity haunt since Mariah Carey christened the club on New Years Eve 2004. Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have frequented the club numerous times. Ashlee Simpson, with sister Jessica, celebrated her 21st birthday here as part of an MTV special. Prince took over the Red Room one night. And, Paris Hilton, one of the more frequent celebrity guests, celebrated her 25th birthday at PURE and has performed several impromptu concerts leading up to the release of her CD. But that's just the beginning. Some of the other famous faces that have popped into PURE include Nick Lachey, Jamie Foxx, Fergie, Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Pamela Anderson, Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton, Carmen Electra, Dave Navarro and Nicky Hilton.

Danny Masterson makes a Royal Straight Flush as he blows out the candles on another year.

PURE has also brought its impeccable nightlife service to the daytime hours at the Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace. The professional staff pampers guests with such amenities as cold towels, frozen grapes, orange wedges and Evian spritzers. The pool offers a mojito menu prepared tableside, muddling cool fresh fruit mojitos on a hot summer day. The Venus pool also offers a very inviting menu of dishes like lobster club sandwiches and tuna poke platters.

The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie works up the crowd while Kanye West gets friendly with the Pussycat Dolls.

At Coyote Ugly, inside New York-New York, the atmosphere is relaxed but upbeat. The Coyote girls perform nightly, entertaining audiences where the friendly staff provides a great atmosphere for bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Paris Hilton performs an impromptu concert at PURE, where she also celebrated her 25th birthday.

Tangerine Lounge & Nightclub at Treasure Island is an indoor/outdoor nightclub with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip and a "bird's eye" view of the Sirens of TI show. The venue offers two DJs spinning different music types. This Miami-meets-Las Vegas club also entertains its guests with a burlesque show that occurs four times nightly, combining classic burlesque with a modern twist. In late August, Treasure Island and PMG will unveil its latest project; 'Social House.' This indoor/outdoor sushi concept will connect to Tangerine providing a restaurant and nightclub experience. The very approachable menu will satiate the palates of our nightclubs and restaurant consumers alike. Specializing in late-night dining, Social House will serve sushi into the morning hours.

There’s more in store for Vegas coming from Pure Management Group, including Dick’s Last Resort at the
Excalibur Hotel and Casino and Lucky Strike, an upscale bowling venue at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino. Opening this winter, PMG and the Luxor team up for an unbelievable new nightlife and restaurant concept that is sure to change Las Vegas nightlife.
