Jack and Me
As far back as I can remember, Jack and me were friends were
friends forever
He played the piano like a master
and the girls I played with, I was faster
The moments in our lives seemed to resemble each other
Between us all, the parts that came, only he and me
could claim to play
The times we had, we had our joys and pain
between us, parts were ours with fame
I would paint; he would draw
and tell each other tales before
We were always boys, don't you see
Stickball, marbles, cards, then climb a tree
Yes, Jack and me
