What we call "Culture" just doesn't happen as a result of time transcending into history. Culture is actually sculpted by distinctive personalities that chisel out our time honored traditions and set standards that often dictate our daily expectations of current events.

Celebrities are culture makers, trendsetters and role models, whose influence permeates every facet of our lives. Las Vegas is unique, as a city that oozes with a diversity of entertainment icons that can be seen and experienced live, 24/7. One such celebrity-artist who loves the non-stop Las Vegas lifestyle is international opera diva, Judy Moore.

Judy was born in Los Angeles California and her first title was given to her by her mid-western grandmother calling her, her "California Rosebud". The Italians knew her as the protégé of the mythical opera star Renata Tebaldi and while living and performing in Germany the German newspapers dubbed her "Miss. Creativity", because she was the first American opera singer to open a Performing Arts Center in Germany.

Today, Judy is a resident Las Vegan, where she's known as "The Cultural Connoisseur" of Las Vegas and a devoted member of the Opera Las Vegas Board, but most beloved and influential is her Las Vegas Vocal Studio. The studio is a fulfillment of a promise made to her teacher and mentor Renata Tebaldi to pass on the legacy of the art of pure "Bel Canto" singing, "Tebaldi style".

Renata Tebaldi, resided at her home in the Republic of San Marino on Italy's Mediterranean coast until her passing in December of 2004. Renata's career as an international opera star of the fifties through the mid seventies era continues today, as record companies vie to produce her CDs, film crews seek to make documentaries, magazines and newspapers call for interviews and adoring fans write letters requesting signed photos. Renata was always pleased and touched to be long sought after and adored by her fans world wide from Milan's "Teatro al La Scala",

The Lyric Opera of Chicago, The San Francisco Opera, The NYC Metropolitan Opera, where they called her "Miss Sold Out", just to name a few. Judy says, "I went to Italy, the home of great singing, to prefect my voice after receiving my B.A. in Music from UCLA. I never dreamed I would be privileged and blessed to become the only student that Renata ever chose to dedicate herself to, by teaching me her personal art of vocal production. While living in Milan, I studied voice intensively with Renata in a small studio in the shadows of the famous Milan "La Scala" opera house. I was told that people outside would pin their ears to the door while others in the Galleria below, would gaze up at the window trying to figure out where that voice was coming from. Those were marvelous times for me. I prepared meticulously and literally lived for every lesson. We studied intensively for two years, 3 times a week for 2 hours. As a result of her dedication personal mentoring, I realize that the responsibility to share this legacy of vocal production is exclusively mine alone and as I promised Renata, I will share the secrets of her vocal artistry with others, just as she taught it to me."

Students come from all over to Judy's Las Vegas studio where she helps her students create their own personal vocal technique and reach their full potential through implementing the vocalizes and breathing principals, "Tebaldi style". Judy believes that, everyone who has a desire to sing should be encouraged to invest in the development of their own personal talent. "Each voice is unique. It's like a thumbprint, yours alone to share in song to be praised and criticized by others. Studying voice is much more than just learning to sing beautifully. It's a journey into your inner most self uncovering weaknesses and hidden strengths, giving voice to reserved emotions. When you sing the song in your heart, you touch others to the very core of their being and they are transformed forever by the memory of that magical musical moment you gave to them. Operatic vocal technique is a great foundation to the vocal development of any style of singing. It's important to teach people how to use their voice correctly and then let them decide what they want to do with it and what music they want to sing, be it classical or commercial."
