Public Invited to Attend
Open House for the Update of Historic Preservation Element of the Las Vegas 2020 Master Plan
THE CITY OF Las Vegas Planning and Development Department and the Historic Preservation Commission encourage residents to attend the upcoming open house meeting to view the draft update of the 1992 Historic Preservation Plan. Visitors will be able to view several informational materials and ask questions of city staff and members of the Historic Preservation Plan Element Task Force.
The open house will be held on Wednesday, October 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Downtown Senior Services Center, formerly the First Baptist Church, located at 310 S. Ninth Street on the southwest corner of Ninth and Bridger Avenue. The open house will be held in the former nave of the church.
The updated plan must be approved by the Historic Preservation Commission, the Planning Commission and City Council before it becomes part of the 2020 Master Plan of Las Vegas.
Those needing any accommodations to attend and participate in this meeting can call the Department of Planning and Development at 229-6301 and advise of their needs at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. The city's TDD number is 386-9108.
