The "Price is Right"
at any price. Just watching the audience's reaction was
worth the price of admission. My wife, Marleen Marino, VCO
publisher nor I have ever been a fan of the TV's
"Price is Right," but after seeing the live-audience stage version at Bally's we can understand why the
Bob Barker/Bill Cullen emceed show has been a daytime staple
for over 35 years. The Bally's show runs at least thru
November hosted by the charming longtime game show host
Todd Newton and announcer Randy West.
Game show announcer has to be
one of the toughest jobs, but Randy like Johnny Olsen
and Johnny Gilbert did a superb job.
The 800 or so members of the
live audience were enthusiastic, even before Todd worked
them up. It was non-stop fun and laughs thanks in part to
the opportunity for every member of the audience to
participate via interactive touchpads.

Besides everyone having a
grand time watching the cast and participants, there was an
opportunity for the lucky few chosen to "Come on Down," for
a chance to win some really GREAT prizes. One lucky gent won
a Pool Table, Recliner, Wide Screen HD TV, and a Stainless Steel pot and pan set.
Do yourself and friends a
favor, take time to catch the "Price is Right" at
Bally's. Show times vary between 2:30, 7:30 & 10:30
p.m. most
days.
