
Linda has lived in
Southern Nevada for more than 18 years.� She is a native of
Buffalo, N.Y., and grew up in Parkersburg, W.V.� She has
worked as a top-producing REALTOR� for No Ka Oi Realty, Inc.
(now called One Source Realty and Management) in Las Vegas
since 1991.� Before that, she worked in the new home
industry, the mortgage industry, and in private funding for
special projects.
Linda�s education and
training includes a degree in business administration and
marketing from West Virginia University, and a masters
degree in business administration from UNLV.� An expert on
residential real estate and property management, Linda holds
the professional designations of ABR, CRS, LTG, and SRES, in
addition to a residential relocation certification, and a
property management permit.
As of Jan. 1, 2006, she is
president on the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS�
Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. �In 2005,
she served as GLVAR president-elect.
In 2003, then-GLVAR
President Lee Barrett appointed Linda as the
director-liaison charged with creating new work groups
serving the interests of the more than 14,000 GLVAR
members.� She has also worked with the REALTOR�-Builder
Relations Work Group (leading to a local Builder-REALTOR�
Council), and served on work groups devoted to land
investment and risk management.
In addition to her
involvement with the GLVAR, she is actively involved in the
Nevada Association of REALTORS�, and National Association of
REALTORS�.� She is a member of the Women�s Council of
REALTORS�, serving as the Nevada State Chapter president for
2004, and a member of Certified Residential Specialists,
National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals
and others.�
When she�s not working,
she enjoys teaching, mediating, and volunteering as a mentor
with Clark High School and UNLV�s Lied Institute for Real
Estate Studies.� She also works as a consultant and expert
witness in residential property management and sales cases.�
She has been married to her best friend, Paul, for more than
13 years.� Paul is the chief financial officer of
Managed Care Consultants, and has served on the board of
directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada for many
years.� Together, they enjoy sports, especially tennis,
travel, and spending time with family and friends
