Join friends and family as they memorialize Cattel at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Center for Spiritual Living Greater Las Vegas at 1420 E Harmon, Las Vegas, NV. www.cslglv.org

A potluck is planned afterward in the Social Hall: please bring your favorite dish to share.

All who desire to participate in this service or contribute to the potluck: please visit and post your message at groups.yahoo.com/group/Cattel and we will contact you for inclusion no later than Saturday, March 13.

We specially invite congregants from Cattel’s other spiritual homes to join Rev. Doug with a formal speech, performing or providing the CD of a favored music selection. There will be informal time scheduled during the service for spontaneous brief sharing.

A Memorial Fund will be announced during the service to cover Cattel’s memorial expenses, with any remaining funds contributed to local charities Cattel supported.

Third Annual ‘Step Out For Safety’ Walk
To Emphasize Importance Of Seat Belt Use


Event Caps Nevada’s First-Ever Seat Belt Awareness Week—March 20–27

The Adam Thomas Health & Safety Foundation will join with UMC Trauma Center, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Safe Community Partnership, Nevada Office of Traffic Safety, and the Governor’s Advisory Board on Traumatic Brain Injury to sponsor the 3rd Annual Step Out for Safety Walk on March 27.

The event will be held at the UMC Trauma Center Parking Lot (across from Trauma Center’s entrance Goldring/West Charleston Blvd.) and will include a one-mile fun walk, a three-mile run, and a separate children’s course to get the whole family involved. Registration is free and will begin at 9:30 a.m. that day, with the Walk/Run starting at 10:00 a.m.

             GORDIE BROWN

Artist of the Month           Gordie Brown



Born June 15, 1963 in Laval, Québec, Canada, Gordie Brown is an impressionist, singer and entertainer. He is well known for his amazing comedy and celebrity impressions such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone, as well as Las Vegas icons like Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis, Jr. Gordie Brown has consistently received rave reviews by both critics and audiences alike, and has been recognized as Entertainer of the Year and Best Show.
