New
Year's Resolutions do not have to be "made to be
broken." January is National Lose Weight, Feel Great
Month. You are urged to get up and go, and here are some
ways that you can get started. These are 5 steps to
help. Step 1-
Establish a healthy goal for yourself. Whether this is a
physical, mental or emotional goal, vow to feel better.
Create a different goal for each day of the month, and
make a chart to keep yourself motivated. Step
2 - Let go of
unhealthy eating habits. Foods high in fats and sugar
not only affect your weight but also your health. If you
really want to lose weight and feel great, kick the
habits this month. Step
3 - Relax your mind,
body and soul. Even if you have a healthy diet, stress
can cause illnesses to take you over and even possibly
stop weight loss. Celebrate this month by de-stressing.
Step 4
- Develop a consistent workout plan.
Incorporating regular exercise into your life this month
will most definitely help you to lose weight and feel
great. Make small steps that are comfortable for you.
Just remember to stay active everyday. Step
5 - Get closer to
your loved ones. Spending quality time with your loved
ones will keep you content and motivated. Remind them of
your goals so that they can keep you on track. Perhaps
your life change will persuade them to celebrate
National Lose Weight, Feel Great Month as well. Learn

On New Year's Eve 1998, a bunch of show business
kids on the cusp of the big time were celebrating on Las Vegas
Boulevard. Limping along in a foot cast was Stacy Ann Ferguson,
now better known as Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. At 24, she
was the oldest of the group. 'N Sync was in the group as well...... |

New Year's at Encore's XS in Las
Vegas
Name one great way to celebrate on New
Year's Eve. There are lots of great answers, but I chose
to spend it with friends and fun-loving celebrities at
XS, one of the best ultra nightclubs, located in one of
the most elegant resorts, Encore, on the Las Vegas Strip

Highlights of 2008
This is the time to look back and reflect
on the year just past. In the wider world it was a year
of extremes. It was great the longest campaign and
most exciting presidential election ever in the US (and
no matter how you voted you must agree) and it was scary...

We are
at the end of the year...thank god. It has been a hell
of a year. We have two wars going on, a collapsed
economy that is in total disarray, huge amounts of
unemployment, and the lowest rated president and
congress in history...we happily say good-bye to 2008,
and we look ahead with tremendous hope to 2009....... |

Draw or No Draw? |
 |
When you
have a good made hand, you still have to fear straights and
flushes. In no-limit hold'em betting, a player is unlikely
to be able to make a flush or straight on the river unless
he had that draw on the flop, or had something else working
on the flop besides the backdoor draw.... |
